Taylor & Vine are very happy to announce the addition Belle & Flo fashions jewellery to their web site for Autumn 2012.

 

Belle & Flo is a fabulous new collection of New York designed fashion jewellery.  Belle & Flo themselves are UK based but all jewellery  pieces are hand picked by Belle & Flo in the US - allowing them select quality high fashion, catwalk inspired jewellery pieces. As the US jewellery market is at least a year ahead of UK & European fashion trends, it also allows to select really trendy fashion pieces ahead of time. All Belle & Flo pieces offer stylish, ,good quality jewellery at really affordable prices and the wide range of items on offer allow you to pick complimentary (and often matching) pieces to enhance your whole wardrobe.

Last week's New! magazine, featured a lovely spread of stunning leaf pendants on their style & beauty page from Blowing in the Wind.

Taylor & Vine have been a major stock of Blowing in the Wind since 2011.  This fabulous range of Costume Jewellery features hand picked real leaves which are are hand coated with a copper based finish and then dipped in precious metals such as silver gold, brass and copper

All the leaves included in the article are avilable on our website, plus many more.  We have had a bit of a run on the stunning irredescent oak leaf featured in the picture followig the article but new stock is due to arrive tomorrow

Kazuri Beads

17th October 2011 - Taylor & Vine Jewellery are proud to anounce the addition of Kazuri Beads as a new jewellery brand within their ever expanding web site. Kazuri Beads offer a collection of handmade ceramics beads, beautifully glazed in a wealth of vibrant colours and unique designs.

Kazuri, which means small and beautiful in Swahili, is hand-painted ceramic jewellery made in Kenya. Every bead which makes up a necklace or bracelet is shaped by hand by one of the 300 local women employed by Kazuri. The beads are then kiln fired once, glazed and fired again before being strung. Founded by the late Lady Susan Wood, Kazuri is still located where she first started creating employment for struggling single mothers back in 1975.

In an age of mass-produced goods, Kazuri jewellery stands out as a little bit different. As every piece of jewellery is handmade, every one is unique. The colours are stunning and the glossy finish adds an air of sophistication and class to each item. The timeless designs also ensure they stand the test of time and will be a asset to any jewellery box

Blowing in the Wind Jewellery

For the Autumn/Winter season 2011, we are pleased to announce the addition of Blowing in the Wind jewellery to Taylor & Vines costume jewellery collection.

Blowing in the Wind offer a fabulous range of costume jewellery which is handcrafted using real leaves. The resulting jewellery is incredibly beautiful and extremely life like. The new range compliments our other jewellery collections with a natural theme, but offers an extremely affordable price range.

Each piece oj jewellery features hand picked real leaves which are are hand coated with a copper based finish and then dipped in precious metals such as silver gold, brass and copper.

Every leaf is checked for imperfections and, if it passes inspection, is then fitted with an electrical contact point and hand painted with a copper solution.

After drying, the leaves are then placed in an electrolytic solution which has microscopic particles of 24ct gold. The electrical contact attracts the particles of gold and the metal builds up on the leaf to form a coating, which preserves even the most intricate and minute surface details. The leaf is then checked a final time to ensure the process has not magnified any previously unnoticed imperfections, before being approved

Each pendant is a unique piece of art where every detail of the leaf is preserved. They are truly beautiful and despite their delicate appearance are extremely hard wearing and durable. They are a must have addition to any girl's jewellery box and have already caputred the imagination of such celebrities as Hilary Duff, Fergie, Eva Mendes and Jessica Alba.

Ashiana Costume Jewellery

We are very pleased to announce that we have added another fabulous jewellery designer to our growing band of designer jewellery collections. This time is Ashiana, who offer contemporary costume jewellery with an exotic, but bohemian edge.

The design inspiration behind Ashiana comes from Anastasia Buisman whose jewellery designs are heavily influenced by her travels & Indian/Dutch heritage.

Ashiana's costume jewellery pieces are made from silver and gold plated base metal set with semi precious stones, crystals and pearls. All materials are selected by a member of the Ashiana team from destinations all over the world and brought back to their workshop where each creation is made by hand.

Our selection of Ashiana Jewellery comes from their Kostume collection and offers striking necklaces and bracelets that use semi precious stones and crystals combined with gold and silver plated elements. There is a very wearable feel about this jewellery and the subtle of use of pearls and crystals makes it appealing to all ages & tastes. Eve & Fox Vintage Inspired Jewellery

As of September 2010, we are very pleased to announce the addition of Eve & Fox Jewellery to our growing list of Designer Jewellery Collections.

Established in 2008 Eve and Fox, was created by husband and wife team Katherine and Ron Foks. Ron studied in Poland where his love for making things led him to Jewellery making and design. Both have the aspirations to design Jewellery that is great quality, originally designed and affordable.


The pieces have a strong vintage style with many of the charms being vintage finds from Rhode Island in New York, to handmade ceramic pieces made in England. The range is constantly evolving - incorporating botanical themes with unusual vintage finds - finished with unusal beads, ceramic hearts, fresh water pearls, and pretty charms. Every piece of Eve and Fox jewellery is handmade in their studio in Leicester.

We are love the look and feel of these delicate pieces of jewellery, they offer something a little bit different with exceptional quality which would make them the perfect gift.

They also have an excellent price of between £19.95 - £22.95. We have a range of 10 different necklaces currently available, but this is likely to increase between now and Christmas.

Taylor & Vine Announces New Designer - Bohm Jewellery

As of 25th March, 2010, we are very pleased to announce the addition of Bohm Jewellery to our growing list of Designer Jewellery Collections.

First introduced in 2006, the New York based company The Bohm has established a tremendous following both in the US but also in the Far East. Relatively new to the UK, Bohm offers a unique range of Designer Fashion Jewellery that combines a modern chic style with elements of vintage design giving a stunning, fresh, elegant look. All Bohm jewellery is handmade using 14k gold vermeil and semi precious stones, and have a commitment to using increasing amounts of recycled components.

The new Bohm products are already available within Taylor & Vine’s on-line store and include necklaces, bracelets and earrings. As of 1st October 2009, Taylor Vine are please to announce the addition of Mirabelle Designer Jewellery to their growing nuber of featured designers.

Mirabelle founder Veronique Henry has travelled extensively throughout her life, gaining a unique perspective in creating and sourcing jewellery.

Véronique is the daughter of a Parisian silversmith, whose jewellery designs are heavily influenced by her passion for South East Asia , This is seen by the intricacy and vibrant colour combinations of her designs, fusing ethnic and contemporary materials.

All Mirabelle jewellery is hand made by fair trade suppliers using sterling silver, 22k gold plated metals, brass, semi precious stones, carved mother of pearl, wood , and shells from trusted sources.

Michael Michaud - Silver Seasons Jewellery

The Silver Seasons jewellery collection, designed by Michael Michaud, captures the beauty and exquisite detail of nature in metals, pearls and stones. Artist Michael Michaud was born in Cleveland, Ohio and raised in Westport, Connecticut. Michael studied at the Rochester Institute of Technology's prestigious school for American craftsmen, graduating in 1980.

Living in the Connecticut countryside and working near New York City's flower district, Michael's love of nature began to combine with his love of jewellery. Today's collection is a combination of Michael's exceptional knowledge of jewelry making and his love of nature. He has perfected the technique of creating models from natural elements and, after models are made, manipulating these "copies of nature" into beautiful jewellery. Azuni Jewellery

The Azuni story began over 10 years ago as the vision of Ashley Sinclair Marshall, now Azuni's creative director. Ashley took up jewellery design at London Guildhall after having worked as a top chef.

His early inspiration came during a trip to Guatamala. In 1995 following two years of travel between Guatamala and London, the first Azuni collection was launched. The silver collections launched in 2000 and continually updated combine handmade silver beads and charms with crystal, carved shell and semi precious stones, creating a look that is unmistakeably Azuni.
