It's that time of year where we are frantically putting orders in  for new stock for the Autumn/Winter season and dare I say it Christmas.  As part of this, we have decided to extend and replenish our range of  pretty vintage themed Jewellery from british husband and wife designer's - Eve & Fox. So look out for new stock of some old favourites - like the very popular 2 little bird necklace but also some new necklaces featuring rabbits and swallows. Featured Product - Leather Flower Cuffs

One of the best sellers here at Taylor & Vine, are currently our leather flower cuff range.  Available in two styles  (flower - pictured bottom or snakeskin rose -pictured top), these stunning bracelets are very versatile, complementing outfits whatever the season and both formal and casual looks.  The cuffs are made of genuine leather and in finished in a range of colours. Currently, bright colours are most popular for the summer season - red, purple, pink and turquoise, however these colours span the transition towards autumn and winter as they look fantastic set against grey and black.  For a warmer, more autumn look, the cuffs in beige, bronze  and brown are also very popular.

Product of the week - Shamballa Crystal Bracelets

Now and again, we get a couple of products into our stock, that we can't resist telling you about.  One such product is our Shamballa Crystal & Bead Bracelets.

Shamballa crystals have been round for a while but these bracelets combine shamballa beads in pastel colours with lovely pearl beads.  There are small crystal spacers in between each bead to complete the effect. These bracelets is made of really good quality beads and are all hand strung.

Spring Jewellery Now Arriving

Spring is just about here, and we are starting to take delivery of lots of lovely new fashion and costume jewellery products for the spring/summer season. We have kicked off with a new "daisy" collection with necklaces and bracelets that feature gold and silver flowers, and also some fun vibrant pastel colour bird earrings.

Stud Earrings for the "Younger Wearer"

My 11 year old daughter was desperate to have her ears pierced, which finally I gave into last year for her birthday. Since then, I have been very disappointed to find that there is a distinct lack of good quality earrings for younger people. At that age, I was keen to find earrings that were made from silver rather than base metal or plastic but also be smallish studs, in designs suitable for that age group - only to find that a local girls accessories store (rhymes with "Pears") seemed to have a monopoly on these type of earrings. These products were not only on the pricey side but also had quite a limited selection in silver.

Therefore we have now put together our own range of earrings that will specifically suit children and young people. All of our earrings have 925 sterling silver backs and posts and some are made entirely of sterling silver. We have also selected a range of fun designs that include, owls, ducks, feet, flowers, butterflies, hearts, seahorses and stars. Although these earrings are not suitable for the initial piercing period, they offer a good quality earring which will last. Prices start at 3.95, so they are extremely good value for silver earrings.

Kazuri Beads

17th October 2011 - Taylor & Vine Jewellery are proud to anounce the addition of Kazuri Beads as a new jewellery brand within their ever expanding web site. Kazuri Beads offer a collection of handmade ceramics beads, beautifully glazed in a wealth of vibrant colours and unique designs.

Kazuri, which means small and beautiful in Swahili, is hand-painted ceramic jewellery made in Kenya. Every bead which makes up a necklace or bracelet is shaped by hand by one of the 300 local women employed by Kazuri. The beads are then kiln fired once, glazed and fired again before being strung. Founded by the late Lady Susan Wood, Kazuri is still located where she first started creating employment for struggling single mothers back in 1975.

In an age of mass-produced goods, Kazuri jewellery stands out as a little bit different. As every piece of jewellery is handmade, every one is unique. The colours are stunning and the glossy finish adds an air of sophistication and class to each item. Wear your costume jewellery with Confidence & Style

Costume Jewellery is the perfect way to accessorise an outfit without breaking the bank, however there can be a tendency to overdo it. There’s a very fine line between hittting the style bang on trend and attracting unwanted looks from passers-by. To avoid creating any costume jewellery faux pas, following these simple tips will help you to hit the right mark every time.

1. Learn from the Celebrities
Celebrities know that to make the best-dressed lists and steer clear of the disaster lists they should keep their accessories minimal; a bright and colourful cocktail ring adds colour to a bland or plain outfit but when combined with a cluster of studded bangles and several large, dangling necklaces the overall look can become tacky rather than fashionable.

2. Vary the style
Large statement pieces of jewellery are highly noticeable and will almost indefinitely lose their dramatic impact if worn everyday. It is therefore a good idea to wear costume jewellery in different ways, at different occasions with different outfits. By varying the style and what you wear the accessory with, you can keep the trend fresh and interesting without the need for buying new pieces.

Just In - New additions to Babette Wasserman Collection

As of 13th October 2010, Taylor & Vine are pleased to announce the addition of many new designs to the already extensive Babette Wasserman jewellery collection

Our new Babette Wasserman products include new 2010 pieces from Babette's signature "Glitter Chameleon" range.. These include the glitter chameleon hoop necklace and the gliter chameleon web ring. We have also introduced the daisy chain necklace, with a selection of interchangeable crystal pendant charms.

We have also replenished our stocks of some of our best selling products including the glitter dome necklace in pink, black and silver. The glitter chameleon mini ring which is a firm favourite with our customers is now available in the new colours of Champagne and Nuit (black).

Eve & Fox Vintage Inspired Jewellery

As of September 2010, we are very pleased to announce the addition of Eve & Fox Jewellery to our growing list of Designer Jewellery Collections.

Established in 2008 Eve and Fox, was created by husband and wife team Katherine and Ron Foks. Ron studied in Poland where his love for making things led him to Jewellery making and design. Both have the aspirations to design Jewellery that is great quality, originally designed and affordable.


The pieces have a strong vintage style with many of the charms being vintage finds from Rhode Island in New York, to handmade ceramic pieces made in England. The range is constantly evolving - incorporating botanical themes with unusual vintage finds - finished with unusal beads, ceramic hearts, fresh water pearls, and pretty charms. Every piece of Eve and Fox jewellery is handmade in their studio in Leicester.

We are love the look and feel of these delicate pieces of jewellery, they offer something a little bit different with exceptional quality which would make them the perfect gift.

They also have an excellent price of between £19.95 - £22.95. We have a range of 10 different necklaces currently available, but this is likely to increase between now and Christmas.

Product of the Month - May 2010

We have such a lot of lovely products on our web site that are constantly being updated with new items to suit the seasons, trends and the new desginers we bring on line. There are so many to choose from, we thought we'd start featuring our favourite product each month.

To kick this off, we have selected this lovely floral corsage cufff as our product for May 2010. This cuff comes from our own range of fashion jewellery and features faceted acrylic petals in pastel colours are set into a diamante flower centre.
