Star Buy for July

Our star buy for July is a beautiful pair of designer earrings from UK jewellery designer Babette Wasserman – a steal at just £39.95. These glitter chameleon drop earrings are in ice colours - of pink, lilac and light blue. Perfect colours for summer, complementing this seasons fashion trends but these earrings also look stunning in winter against a back drop of black or navy .

They have a rectangle cluster of swarovski crystals in ice colours set into a base of sterling silver. Four silver strands then descend from the crystal base and each strand is set with a crystal in one of the ice colours. How to find your Ring Size

One of the biggest problems when buying a ring online, is knowing what ring size you need, whether it be for yourself or a present for someone else. However sizing your finger for a ring is very simple and can be done in many different ways as we explain below.

Always make sure your hands are warm before measuring your fingers and ensure you measure for comfortable fit - not too tight and not too loose.

Method 1 : Measure the inside diameter in millimetres of a ring that is comfortable on the finger you want to wear your new ring on

Method 2 : Wrap a piece of string or cotton around the base of the finger you wish to size, selecting the snuggest fit that still fits over your knuckle. Make a mark at the point where the string/cotton overlaps. Measure the string/cotton to give you your ring size in mm.

By looking at the chart below, you can use the measurements you have taken to check against various industry standard ring sizes.

Costume Jewellery is the perfect way to accessorise an outfit without breaking the bank, however there can be a tendency to overdo it. There’s a very fine line between hittting the style bang on trend and attracting unwanted looks from passers-by. To avoid creating any costume jewellery faux pas, following these simple tips will help you to hit the right mark every time.

1. Learn from the Celebrities
Celebrities know that to make the best-dressed lists and steer clear of the disaster lists they should keep their accessories minimal; a bright and colourful cocktail ring adds colour to a bland or plain outfit but when combined with a cluster of studded bangles and several large, dangling necklaces the overall look can become tacky rather than fashionable.

2. Vary the style
